1. Topping-out Ceremony for the Extension Project – 10 September 2019

The topping-out ceremony was held on Sep 10, 2019. About 100 guests and staff members all came to watch and celebrate this great milestone. The building work of the new wing is expected to finish by December 2019. After that, interior decorations and finishes will begin. Best of luck!

2. Togetherness Concert 2019 – 11 & 12 July 2019

Almost 400 little musicians took part in the two shows that were held in the Primary School on July 11 and 12. Participating teams included the junior and senior choirs, the six music bands, hand bell school team, recorder school team, the strings and the wind band, harp solo, school drama team as well as the junior school dance team. Also, students from Donggaodi No.2 Elementary School (Beijing) introduced us to one of the cultural treasures of China --- Beijing Opera. Everyone had worked hard! Let’s give them all a big round of applause!

 
3. Transdisciplinary Learning Activities – June 2019

To enable students to discover ways to integrate the separate subjects, and ultimately relate what they learn to life, various transdisciplinary learning activities were organized for our P. 1 – P. 5 students in June. Through talks and games, KS1 students learned more about food culture, sustainable living and the benefits of exercise to our well-being. KS2 students had a deeper understanding of Hong Kong’s culture and history through the sharing of parent volunteers. They also learned about Hong Kong’s aviation industry from practicing professionals.

Darts for Beginners: Darts can be a lot of fun for the entire family. The carp is thought to be a symbol of luck, prosperity, good fortune and perseverance. We made a little craft at the Jockey Club Lei Yue Mun Plus.
