Lantern Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. The Chinese Cultural Committee of HKUGA College organized a "Lantern Festival Celebration cum S6 Farewell Gathering" event on 25th February 2021. Students could learn the meaning of the Lantern Festival through different activities and interact with S6 students. 

S1-S5 students learned to make glutinous rice balls by watching the demo video and learned about the Lantern Festival's customs. They also made lanterns at home and played lantern riddle games.  Form 6 students made lanterns on the spot and wrote down their wishes. On the same day, the S6 teachers sent them hand-written greeting cards to convey their sincere wishes and took pictures with them, wishing them good results in the examinations.
