HKUGA College Hosts Enriching Cultural Exchange with Dunman High School
On November 7th, HKUGA College warmly welcomed 55 Year-2 students and 7 teachers from Dunman High School for a day of meaningful cultural exchange. With the support of 42 enthusiastic student ambassadors from our College, the event was a vibrant blend of learning, collaboration, and friendship.
The day began with an engaging orientation and team-building activities, setting the stage for dynamic interactions. Students participated in comparative studies, exploring perspectives on Hong Kong and Singapore. Discussions delved into Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), tackling global challenges such as natural disasters, food security, and public health, sparking valuable insights for the 21st century.
Adding to the enriching experience, the Singaporean students immersed themselves in our classrooms, gaining a firsthand glimpse of our unique learning environment. They also took part in English Week activities, including the creative and thought-provoking “Cosmic Clash on Science Fiction,” which highlighted both language skills and imagination.
The visit was a truly rewarding experience, blending intellectual exploration with fun and collaborative learning. It was a day to remember, fostering friendships and broadening horizons for all involved.
