P2C Walkathon 2026
BackThe 3rd P2C Walkathon successfully took place on 1 February, marking a historic milestone as an unprecedented 97 P6 students (87%) conquered the demanding 16 km course—walking from the Primary School in Chai Wan to the College in Wong Chuk Hang. Only 14 students took the alternative 8.5 km route, which was extended from 5km route last year, reflecting remarkable improvements in overall student physical fitness.
Setting off from HKUGA Primary School after an energetic warm-up, the students were uniquely inspired by special guest Mr. Michael Cheng—a 75-year-old traveler who walked 6,032 km across China. He personally accompanied our students along the whole exciting journey.
Building on this momentum, featuring personalised T-shirts, official bibs, and a warm welcome at the HKUGA College Carnival with lively music performances, all students successfully reached their goals alongside over 300 supportive helpers, making this community-driven event an unforgettable celebration as our P6 students eagerly look forward to starting College life this coming September.
