The PI Symposium was successfully held on 30th November at HKUGA College, attracting 100 participants, including Education Foundation Members, IMC Managers, and teachers from the two schools.

The event aimed to share insights and methods for promoting independent thinking among College students through Philosophical Inquiry as a pedagogy. Attendees enjoyed keynote speeches from Senior Research Fellow at CUHK, Dr Will Ng and Hong Kong stand-up comedian Mr Vivek Mahbubani. The symposium also featured a student-led philosophical inquiry session and presentations from the John Locke Institute Essay Competition shortlist.

This event honored Mr CM Mak, a devoted educator who promoted Philosophy for Children (P4C) in the educational field.
